Tiphaine DEGUELLE divides her time as designer of her own line of ready to wear for women in the category middle to upmarket range and being responsible of coordination between the programmes of Fashion Management and the Department of Design at Mod’Art International Paris. After qualifying at HND level as a pattern maker and designer she has had lots of professional experience in studios such as Cacharel, Buffalo, Chipie and Request. Assistant buyer in France for chains of department stores in Japan, she helped Karine Roitfeld for Vogue France.
She creates, produces and distributes her own collections of ready to wear exclusively for the Japanese market and designs at the same time a line of underwear signed Tiphaine Deguelle for Damart, also exclusively for the Japanese market.
With around 20 years’ experience in the ready to wear womens sector she has gained a solid background in the Fashion industry from creating a collection to delivering it. Tiphaine is in charge of the coordination of the programme concerning Fashion from 1st year to 3rd year for the students in Fashion Management at Mod’Art. She also teaches the notions of style and production necessary for all Fashion Management students.
