BOWN Mark - English teacher
Mark Bown has over 20 years of experience as an English teacher, both in the private and public sectors, in the UK, France and Spain. He has a Master’s degree in Linguistics and IT and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education.
Mark Bown teaches students taking the different courses proposed by Mod’Art International (fashion management department) from the first to the fourth year. He has also developped a cursus for learning Fashion vocabulary with debates and discussions and role play in situ for students to improve their specific professional English. ?Mark Bown coordinates Mod’Art International’s team of English teachers (about a dozen experienced teachers who have both an expert knowledge of the IELTS test and an excellent understanding of the fashion world). He prepares students to pass English-level exams (the IELTS), so they can continue their studies, in their fourth year, in one of the British or American universities that are part of the Mod’Art International partnership programme. Mod’Art International partner universities include the London College of Fashion, the University of Westminster, Nottingham Trent University and Berkeley College of New York.
Mark Bown also gives classes in different higher education establishments, notably Science Po and ESSEC, as well as teaching in French universities and other “grandes ecoles”. Mark Bown also works as a translator and a proofreader.
